We would love to offer intentional prayers of thanksgiving throughout November. Let’s do this using breath prayers. A breath prayer is a short, simple prayer you say in a single breath. Sync the prayer with your breath by saying a portion of it on the inhale and the rest on the exhale. We can each formulate a general breath prayer of thanksgiving to use throughout the month, or we can change it up weekly or even daily. Let’s try it! Examples of breath prayers might be (inhale … exhale) “Grateful for today’s gifts … received with an open heart” or “Thankful for friends and family … whose love surrounds us.” Share your ideas with us!
