Community of Hope will be providing meals (breakfast and dinner) for one week, Jan 22-28 at the Christian Ministries Sleeping room located at 403 ½ E. Main Street in downtown Muncie. This shelter for single men is open each evening from 6 pm between October and April.  The guests are provided a warm, safe area where they can take showers, receive a warm dinner and breakfast, and receive clean clothes. It truly is a wonderful experience.  Meals can be made in advance and need to be at the shelter by 6:00 am for breakfast and 6:00 pm for dinner. Volunteers will provide a meal either breakfast or dinner for 6-8 people, serve the meal and clean up. If you haven’t participated before, please don’t hesitate. It is a service opportunity that many look forward to each year. A sign-up sheet is located in Narthex for Jan. 22- 25 and in the Coffee Bar for Jan 26-28.
