Exciting Missions News Flash!!! Community of Hope will be participating in the Habitat for Humanity Interfaith Build. We will be putting our faith into action with a meaningful hands-on mission. Our group build day will be Saturday, July 12!
We are looking for:
Volunteers to build (no experience, tools or skills required; must be 16). A sign-up sheet will be located in the Narthex.
Lunch for the build day, perhaps a group at COH would provide lunch.
Financial-Donations for the build. We will be collecting monetary donations for the build throughout June and July. Please indicate on your check a line referencing Habitat Interfaith Build. On Sunday June 29 we will also have a special collection at church.
There are also tax credits available. In Delaware County, a gift of $1000.00 or more qualifies you for a $500.00 tax credit on your Indiana state income tax return. Flyers are available in the Narthex if you are interested in the tax credit.
We are grateful to have this opportunity to partnership with other churches and faith organizations to build a safe, decent, and secure home for a local family in our Muncie Community.
